NAPA, CA — Cambria Hotel Napa Valley Silverado Trail made its official debut this month in Napa, marking Cambria’s fourth hotel in California and second in the North Bay.
Local dignitaries joined representatives from Choice Hotels and Stratus Development Partners for a grand opening event Oct. 13 that included a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The four-story, 90-room Cambria Hotel Napa Valley was developed by Newport Beach-based Stratus Development Partners, LLC, which recently worked with the brand to open the Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country.
The new Napa hotel and the existing one in Sonoma are among 60 upscale Cambria locations franchised by Choice Hotels across the United States in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.

As part of the local celebration, Stratus Development Partners presented a $2,500 donation to the Napa Valley Community Foundation as a token of the hotel’s support and appreciation for all the nonprofit does for the community.
Situated at 320 Soscol Ave. in Napa, Cambria Hotel Napa Valley is in an ideal location near popular wine country attractions such as the Napa Wine Train, Oxbow Market and Silverado Trail; and within walking distance of downtown Napa, home to several shops, restaurants, art galleries and entertainment venues.

The hotel is also within close proximity to some of the region’s largest employers, including Allied Universal Security Systems, the Department of State Hospitals–Napa, Queen of the Valley Medical Center and Napa Valley College.
Napa County Airport is 8 miles from the property, offering convenient access to the area.
“With expansive vineyards, wineries and much-admired restaurants, in addition to popular activities such as hiking, hot-air ballooning, horseback riding, cycling and golf, the Cambria Hotel Napa Valley places guests at the doorstep of everything that makes this area of the country so special,” said Janis Cannon, senior vice president, upscale brands, Choice Hotels.
Appropriately, the artwork at Cambria Hotel Napa Valley was inspired by graphic design patterns of 1976, the year of the “Judgment of Paris,” the international wine-tasting competition that put Napa Valley wine country on the map.

The hotel’s ample glass exposure brings the outdoors in and provides expansive views of the surrounding area. Multi-purpose indoor and outdoor spaces, including an outdoor patio, fireplace and spa, are conducive to work or relaxation, while the hotel also offers multi-function meeting and event spaces.
Dining is offered onsite at Mary Elizabeth’s restaurant and bar, which serves locally inspired cuisine and regional craft beers.
“Surrounded by Northern California’s picturesque natural scenery, rolling hills and bordering the Napa River, this hotel allows travelers to satisfy their wanderlust by combining elements to help them relax with local inspired design that makes for an authentically local stay — creating an unequaled upscale experience, whether visiting to explore wineries or the great outdoors,” Cannon said.
